Abstract:
We introduce dispersion relations for the two-point correlation function of bulk operators in defect conformal field theories. These relations allow to reconstruct the correlator starting from its discontinuity and they are particularly effective in perturbative settings. We apply them to holographic correlators and critical boundaries in the epsilon expansion.
