Abstract:
The high redshift Universe, including the epochs of reionization and cosmic dawn, is still poorly understood and processes such as early star formation are almost unconstrained. In my talk I will briefly mention how we can constrain this epoch via the 21-cm signal of neutral hydrogen. I will then focus on the prospects for intensity mapping techniques, and mention how transients (such as fast radio bursts) can be used. Finally, I will highlight some effects of dark matter physics on structure and star formation in the context of fuzzy dark matter.
