Abstract:
The branching fractions of b —> c tau nu decays are higher than the SM predictions by 3.8 sigma, making them a primary topic of interest at LHCb and Belle II. I will discuss the SM and BSM predictions related to these decays, including recent work on measuring CP violation in potential BSM amplitudes. The measurement techniques and how they will be improved using the capabilities of Belle II will also be described.
