Tom Kalvary from the School of Matehmatical Sciences won a bronze medal in the International Olympiad of Informatics

The School of Mathematical Sciences and the Faculty of Exact Sciences congratulate Tom Kalvary, who participated in the International Olympiad of Informatics that took place in Taipei, Taiwan, and won a bronze medal.

Every year Israel participates in four Olympiads for teenagers in scientific subjects. One of these Olympiads is the International Olympiad of Informatics, that took place in Taipei, Taiwan, in July 2014.

 

The Israeli team consisted of four teenagers, among them Tom Kalvary, who finishes this year his B.Sc. studies in the School of Mathematical Sciences. Tom won a bronze medal, and added it to the medals he won in previous years in the International Olympiad of Informatics and in the International Olympiad in Mathematics.

 

The School of Mathematical Sciences and the Facuklty of Exact Sciences congratulate Tom for his achievement and wish him all the best in his future studies.
