Abstract:
Belle II in Japan is a flagship experiment at the intensity frontier that started data taking 2019 after massive upgrades of the accelerator and the detector.
In this talk I will report on the performance of the Belle II detector with a particular focus on the challenges for Dark Matter searches.
In the second part of the talk I will give an overview about the ongoing and planned searches for Dark Matter and axion-like particles (ALPs) at Belle II.
