Congratulations to PhD student Ori Green from the School of Chemistry for winning “Jortner Prize” for 2019 and for being selected as a Rothschild Fellow for 2020-2021

Ori’s research focuses on development of chemical tools such as molecular prodrugs, activity-based probes and fluorescent for biological applications.

 

The “Jortner Prize” awarded by The Israel Chemical Society for an outstanding Ph.D. student, was awarded to Ori at the 85th ICS Annual Meeting that took place on February 2020.

 

The Rothschild Fellowship program was established in 1979 to help young scholars of outstanding academic merit and potential to advance in their respective fields. Fellowships are provided for one year of postdoctoral study and research abroad.
