Qais Jaber is a PhD student in the group of Prof. Micha Fridman from the Department of Organic Chemistry
In his research program, Qais aims to explore novel concepts for development of new classes of antifungal agents. Qais’ main focus is on the emergence of fungal resistance to the current drugs and strategies to overcome it.
The Prof. Emanuel Peled scholarship is awarded annually to PhD students at the School of Chemistry for their extraordinary academic excellence.
