ICS Prize of Excellence for a high school chemistry research project

Ron Rivkin, a high school student who participated in the ALPHA program for gifted young scientists in TAU, received this year’s ICS Prize of Excellence for an exceptional high school chemistry research project. The prize is awarded by the Peled family, in memory of their son, Eitan Peled, who was killed in the Arad disaster.

The project, titled: “Self-assembly of fluorescently  labeled amphiphilic PEG-dendron hybrids into micellar structures”, was carried out as part of the ALPHA program, and with the instruction of Dr. Roey Amir and his PhD Student, Ms. Marina Buzhor, of the Organic Chemistry Department in TAU School of Chemistry.
