Prof. Michael Urbakh won the Israel Chemical Society for the Outstanding Scientist 2019

Prof. Michael Urbakh of the Department of Physical Chemistry has been jointly awarded the 2019 ICS Prize of Excellence for his pioneering contributions to the field of nanotribology, particularly for the introduction of new ways to control frictional properties of sliding interfaces.

 

The award ceremony will take place in February 2020, during the 85th ICS Annual Meeting.
