PhD Programs
Eligibility
Graduates with a Master's degree, a minimum cumulative grade point average of 80 (M.Sc.) or 85 (M.A.), and a Master's thesis grade of at least 85 may apply for studies leading towards the Ph.D.
The candidate should have an academic background in one of the following academic disciplines: Geophysics, Geography & Human Environment, Environmental Studies, according to the departments in the school.
Another prerequisite to the application and submission of candidacy documents for the school doctoral program is finding an academic supervisor and securing his/her agreement to support and advise the student's research.
Candidates must provide the following documents:

A statement of the research purpose- for Ph.D candidate in the Department of Environmental studies

Transcript of Masters' degree courses, including final overall grade point average and thesis grade*

Transcript of grades from undergraduate degree*

Your candidacy requires the final approval of the doctoral committee of the Porter School of the Environment and Earth Sciences. - Following acceptance and upon arrival in Israel, the candidate must submit original degree certificates and transcripts from universities abroad in addition to his/her passport.
