Prof. Fernando Patolsky of the department of Physical Chemistry has been awarded The 2020 Tenne Family Prize (in memory of Lea Tenne) for Nanoscale Sciences, for pioneering the synthesis and assembly of semiconductor nanostructures and for applying them in ultrasensitive nanoscale chemical and biochemical sensors. The award ceremony will take place on the Open University campus.
