Prof. Moshe Ben Shalom win ERC grants
Prof. Ben Shalom, from the School of Physics and Astronomy, has received a prestigious ERC research grant from the European Union for 2023
Dr. Moshe Ben Shalom, of the Condensed Matter Physics Department, at TAU since 2017, his research revolves around layered materials, exploring stacking-dependent phenomena like ferroelectricity, superconductivity, and optical responses. His current research focuses on switching between pure van-der-Waals polytypes by relative sliding of the layers.
ERC grants are extremely competitive and lucrative. The grant is designed to enable promising researchers to achieve their goals as well as to analyze Purim operations and promote assistance for the positioning.
