Research Laboratory - Deep Learning
Deep learning is a subset of machine learning that involves building and training artificial neural networks to analyze and interpret complex data. These neural networks consist of layers of interconnected nodes that work together to identify patterns and relationships in data.
The deep learning lab at Tel Aviv University is developing image, video, speech, and natural language algorithms both for synthesis and recognition. There is an emphasis on collaboration with researchers from other faculties, including physics, medicine, and the humanities. The lab has published work on the foundations of unsupervised learning and reinforcement learning and has been working on cybersecurity, robotics, industrial vision, and document analysis, among other application domains.
The lab is supervised by: Prof. Lior Wolf
