Dr. Mahmoud Sharif was selected for a list of 15 young faculty members who are "Rising Star Faculty Award"
in fields relevant to Intel, including computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, and chemical and materials engineering.
Among the 15 rising stars for 2023, only 3 from universities outside the United States were included.
The selection qualifies for a financial prize to encourage research.
