Glass-Blowing Workshop

The glass blowing workshop supports research and instruction laboratories within the school of chemistry and in other TAU units.

In addition, the workshop provides services for external customers.

The workshop staff consists of highly experienced glass blowers with expertise in glass blowing technologies and manufacturing tools.

The aim of the workshop is to provide professional, courteous, fast, and high quality service.

Services provides by the glass blowing workshop:

• Consulting and preparation of glass components and tools for the school of chemistry and other units

• Design and development of glass systems according to specified needs, also for external bodies

• Repair of glass tools and equipment

The equipment available in the workshop:

• LPG-oxygen burners

• Ovens

• Glass milling machine

• Diamond saw

• Polishing machines
